Working hard on “Star Trek Sirius”. Lots of problem solving after leaving it dormant after me late wife Gillian pasted in 2013. Her voice of the computer is haunting but wonderful to hear. It beckons me to finish.
Translating from old Adobe Premiere to the new version has been trying as has been moving from Lightwave 11.5 to 2018 a mind blower. But finally I’m getting results and in a few weeks I’ll finish and shear it with the world.
It was just a silly spoof she wrote for fun. And it has a very young Rosie in it.
Here are a few raw frame grabs of scenes I have been working on.
I’m finishing all the effects bit by bit. The live action has been done for a long time now.
Lookin’ great, Steve. I remember when this was getting made in the ol’ garage.

Go for it, Steve! Really looking forward to seeing this!

That render engine they’re using in LW 2018 takes some time to adjust to, but it’s a vast improvement. I jumped from LW10 to 2018, so I know how fun it is.
Thanks Jeff. And Thanks Chris. It’s a bear to get right. so much adjustment to get a clean render without the little light dots. Longer render time but the results are quite amazing. I have the Octane render software too. Bought it so I have to try using that too next.
