I have been working on this huge Saturn 5 model for the last three days. Over 5 foot. This is the vehicle that took us to the Moon. It’s amazing to me how many people even from then period don’t know what she is. Here’s some pictures.

That’s awesome! 😀 Is this a personal project or a commission?
I am assuming that is the Dragon kit. I remember the old Revell kit from the 70’s and my brother built it. Took him forever and then he had no where to put it! 🙂
Yeah, sad folks don’t recall it. An amazing piece of technology that we won’t see again anytime soon. Even though NASA has plans for a newer heavy lift – they have said that for decades – budget dependent government programs make it unlikely. Maybe Elon will build one! 🙂
