More progress on the big E

More work on the Enterprise. OK for those of you new here it’s 66 inches long. Scratch built and this one is being built for the Museum of science Fiction in Washington DC. This is the second one I have built.

Got all the rooms in the saucer section and much of the lighting. Some in the engineering section. I’ll be hooking up the VooDooFX NAV board tomorrow some we’ll have the blinking red and greens. So much to do still but I’m putting a dent in it. Another two weeks and I should be close to finish.

I love being able to see through the windows. That’s fantastic. Too bad your camera over exposes and the windows look like they’re glowing half of the time. I’ll bet it’s awesome in person. 🙂

Wow! That room pic looks incredibly realistic. Sure you don’t want to keep this ship and send the museum your original?
