We had a great day shooting with Uncle Ted and Modelman Tom. We finished the last of the live action and tomorrow I’m cutting all of it together to get rid of that gapping black leader of scenes missing. Thanks so much to Ted and Tom for such a great day. I’ll be cutting the real trailer next week to because we are finally nearing completion.
While I waited for them to get to the studio I got a chance to do a bit more on the painting but this darn iPhone camera just washes it out and you can’t even see all the fine little stars in the field. I should have it finished and will use the Nikon to get some better shots. Moved the moon and put it in the right place and started the Milky Way which looks so bright in these pictures but is not.
This is why phone cameras will never replace real cameras, in my opinion. The pictures are always so grainy and low quality, so as not to fill up all of your phone’s storage space. Having said that, it’s still looking really cool. Though, I’m looking forward to better pics. 🙂
thanks Chris but the better pictures will be taken on a Nikon 5300 D SLR. Still not film. But actually better at 2 k. 🙂
