Support for SNG
We are so glad you enjoy watching SNG instructional & entertainment videos, original movies and attending our studio & gallery events.
Your continued friendship and support in keeping our doors open is greatly appreciated.
Besides our store, and we will continue to add new products, we are nearly all non profit. Although we will take on projects they are few and far between. Many changes in the industry of movie work and building models for the private sector have created this. Model making is no longer profitable with so many building models now for very little money.
So we are pursuing our own projects, movies and more at SNG.

Moon liner nearly done
Pictures from SNG 1-22-15
Busy week so far. Finally got the engineering section cleaned up and started the windows.
The TWA Moon Liner (if you aren’t familiar with it look it up on Google) has the power conduit running through the leg and out the foot. No small task getting the angle just right when drill through the leg into the brass tube support to the foot.
Canopy is on and the blending in process has begun.
Started a base for the base for easier transport and access to power cables.
Next up is to make her all one shade of white with flat while. It’s more opaque then gloss, then the red, decals and gloss coat clear.
The brass, hammer is how I pinched the port hole windows. I sharpened the end of the brass tube and hammered it into the clear window material over plywood.
More pictures!
Here’s some more pictures of Kenny’s printing of the figures for the Big 66 inch E build. Scott Alexander kindly sent me a brass cast canopy for the TWA Moon Liner and I built a new dash board and re did the cockpit to suit it. If you watch the video you will get more information about why. The canopy is just rough fitted to show off the interior. It still has to be pointed up and blended to the fuselage. More to come.
