It was a long day today and a long video coming. And it was mixed bag.
Got a Sixth Finger mask poured up. Something I use to do alone but couldn’t manage anymore do to my hernia surgery over a year ago. The mold filled with rubber alone must have weighed 100 pounds plus. It took my friend Manuel next door at the custom car shop to help us. Quite a awake up call but we got it done.
Next up Mary started a tracing of the Mars Attacks Alien to the scale of the puppet we are making. About half scale. Next up is to start the armature for it and all the mechanics. Not to mention next week I will start the head sculpture.
Then a bunch of work on the D. So many light leaks to fix, seams to blend and additional painting to the hull. By tomorrow I should have it be ready for clear on Wednesday. That is if I get the rest of the windows opened up. It’s going well.
More tomorrow gang.
