Steve and others a trick with Barge cement.
Years ago I did Prosthetics (ironic that) and Orthotics and well a boat load of leather work. We used Barge gallons of it. We used brown butchers waxed paper between the parts. Once you had everything lined up you just carefully slid the paper out then just pressed the parts together. No drama.
Probably do not know me but I know of you or of you through Doug and a few others. 😀 ( I do not facebook and google+ yuck lol so this is my only contact to you hopefully you will see it.)
This is in reply to SNG#415. The orange ship is from DS9 and the STC book.
Scroll down about half way and you will find a illustration some paintings and photos. I am not sure if anyone else has higher rez or other images. Doug or Mike Okuda MIGHT. I vaguely remember you questioning the shaft and nacelles in a older episode so the DVD cap image with Mike should clarify those bits. I see you have the bent struts for the nacelles which means some of the wording at the previous mentioned site will need corrections. As it is clear one model had dihedral struts and the other was flat.
I have had interest in modeling this ship in 3d for a while but those images are the only ones I have found.
There might be clearer video refs from the VOY ep Juggernaut as I remember one of the malons playing with it like a toy.
Hope these help as it is a cool model. So much detail for a set prop!
Though who knows you might already have these images and the information.
Love it! Looks great…

The music kind of drowned you outat the end, Steve. You may want to be careful about that in future episodes.
I love the new logo and the ship’s interior.
Great stuff! Made me chuckle. I thought you were going to get a hernia getting out of that thing.
Steve & Mary, the phone does great video, so don’t be afraid to do a nice long show even if you fins that it is all you have to record on 😉
Keep up the good work!
