    Woah what an amazing show today! The Reliant is looking just jaw-droppingly incredible and what can you say about Jeff? incredible! g ood ol’ Canajun know-how 😛

    Steve, despite all the trouble you’ve had, that Reliant looks awesome. I know you said you would never do another Reliant with all the lighting, but I hope you do something similar again. You know how to do it now! I have been packing a crazy amount of lighting into Round 2’s Klingon Bird of Prey and it’s been a freakin’ pain for the same reason: how can you plan it till you’ve done it? But it was great experience and now that it’s almost done, I know how I would plan it a second time.

    Two great tips you’ve shared: Magnet wire and Tulip paint. Forty gauge magnet wire conducts up to about one amp, which is enough for dozens of LEDs. And Tulip paint is light-block and insulation in one–it keeps both photons and electrons from going where they aren’t wanted!
