Voyager Build Part 6

Ooh, flashbacks. I remember hand painting that hull paneling with a paintbrush when I built mine. That was fun. 😉

I’m loving how yours is looking. Nice and subtle. And, yes, definitely no Aztec on this model. This is one where they just did varying colors in the hull paneling, which is actually a look I prefer. The Equinox, Defiant, the First Contact background CGI models and the Enterprise-C (that’s right, kids) are all great examples of non-Aztec ships. (even thought he re-release of the 1:2500 Ent-C comes with “extensive Aztec decals.”)

I’m looking forward to the Klingon ship, as well as the rest of this build. 🙂

Thanks Chris! In the garage working on the Nacelles. They are lighted now!

Sounds cool. I can’t wait to see them. 🙂

I finally reported the problems I’ve been having to YouTube. Hopefully, they’ll fix it. It was murder to watch that video earlier, but there was no way I was missing out on your painting techniques. That’s one thing I’ve never been that good at.
